  1. Non-blocking 115Tbps per second fabric capacity
  2. Dense 40GbE and 100GbE, and flexible support for 25GbE and 50GbE
  3. Support for over 1,700 10Gb and 25Gb Ethernet ports – 1,728 x 10G / 25G, 432 x 40G / 100G Ethernet interfaces
  4. Seamless investment protection with 7500E line cards, fabric and supervisor
  5. Streaming network state for advanced analytics with Cloud Vision
  6. Directly connected 25GbE, 40GbE and 50GbE attached storage systems, requiring high performance and predictable latency

Arista 7500R Series Line Cards Analysis

The 7500R offers a choice of line cards, with consistent support for the full set of 7500R features. The options are 7500R-36CQ, 7500R-36Q and 7500R-48 S2CQ, and the description of each is presented below.

The Arista 7500R-36CQ allows for a high degree of flexibility in a mixed 10G/40G/100G environment. All 36 ports can operate as either a single 100Gb or 40Gb Ethernet port. So they are able to support 4 x 10G Ethernet, 4 x 25G Ethernet or 2 x 50G Ethernet. This flexibility allows for a choice of 5 speeds on all ports and allow for simple migration from 10G to 100G and a wide range of combinations.

Arista 7500R-36Q

The Arista 7500R-36Q allows for a wide range of flexibility in a mixed 10G/40G environment. All QSFP+ ports can operate as either a single 40Gb Ethernet port. With up to 24 ports able to support 4x10G mode and 6 ports of 1x100G mode. These interface speed choices allow for simple migration from 10G to 100G and a wide range of possible
combinations as well.

Interconnection Options for Arista 7500R Series

The 7500 series switch offers three different physical interface choices – SFP+, QSFP+, QSFP100 to provide a wide variety of port density, link distance and interface speed combinations. Choosing the correct module and optic option depends on the design requirements of the data center.

Conclusion

To sum it up, a wide range of transceiver modules and cable options allow the 7500R series to grow, scale, and interoperate with almost any data center design and requirements. fiber-mart.com offers all above Arista compatible transceivers, DACs and AOCs with affordable prices and high performance.
